Outrage as Renowned South African DJ Killed in Johannesburg.
A prominent South African media personality and entertainer has been murdered in the country's largest city Johannesburg, sending shockwaves across a country grappling with persistent crime.
Warrick Stock, widely recognized as DJ Warras, was shot and killed in the downtown area on Tuesday afternoon.
Officials stated the 40-year-old presenter was approached by a trio of assailants, with one opened fire on him before escaping on foot.
The purpose behind the attack has not been established and no one has been arrested are in custody, police said.

Law enforcement revealed that Stock was targeted as he was exiting a location in the vicinity of the Carlton Centre.
He had spent several hours at the building managing the setup of security systems, which had been reportedly taken over by squatters, as per local media.
"The report indicates the man was approached by three unidentified men after he parked his car, and they shot at him before fleeing the scene on foot," a police statement said.
Surveillance tape showed a suspect with dreadlocked hair and dressed in what resembled a security uniform opening fire on Stock before running away.
The DJ tried to run away after he was hit but collapsed across the street.
Police added that Stock had an unused firearm and no items were stolen during the assault.
Important clues, like bullet casings, were discovered at the location.
