Netflix Casts Ideal Actor for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Upcoming Installment
The Secret Organization is geared up to make a major impact in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, though the major clash isn’t set to occur until season 3, and a adored, popular member has recently been selected.
The streaming service revealed recently that the talented performer has joined the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will portray Bentham. Bon Clay possesses the power to morph into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve touched with their dominant hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and goes by they/them, will portray a rendition of that figure re-envisioned as non-binary, instead of as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, as in the original manga and animated series.
The new cast member is joined by multiple recently announced actors set to bring the organization to life, featuring head the main antagonist, portrayed by Joe Manganiello, a talented actress as a key member, and a familiar face, who will appear as the ensemble as the ruler of Alabasta.
Although this character is a important part of the group, the individual won’t make their debut One Piece the third season. Given the next season set to cover the Little Garden storyline, this signals a notable change in the timing of the character’s debut, one that could signal more adjustments to the narrative framework.
The actor’s combination of sharp comedic timing and profound feeling makes them a perfect fit for the part. In addition to their recent voice performance in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and multiple awards for creating and performing in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, showcasing the adaptability they’ll add to one of One Piece’s widely praised characters.
Netflix's live-action One Piece program is due to premiere for its next installment on the tenth of March, 2026.
